Children between 5-21 yrs can attend K-12 public school in the United States
No, immigration status does not affect children’s education.
Every child should be registered separately
Ask the district registration office for information about local, and municipal health offices. These offices can help with health records. Otherwise, if you have your health insurance, you can get it from your child’s pediatrician.
If you can’t provide any report card or transcripts from the previous school, your child will be enrolled with zero credits. Every district will have “Option 2 or Credit Recovery Program” (make this underlined part hyperlinked, I have shared the document with you to link with)
